Dry mortar equipment motor troubleshooting four magic words

Each set of dry mortar equipment has several different power motors. The motor is the core part of the power output of the whole set of dry mortar production line. So how do we deal with the motor problem in the production process?

One. Look
Observe whether there is any abnormality during the operation of the motor, which is mainly manifested in the following situations.
1. When the stator winding is short-circuited, you may see the motor smoke.
2. When the motor is seriously overloaded or running in phase, the speed will be slow and there is a heavy "humming" sound.
3. When the motor is running normally but stops suddenly, sparks may be seen at the loosened wiring. If the fuse is fused or a part is stuck, etc.
4. If the motor vibrates violently, it is possible that the transmission is stuck or the motor is not fixed properly. The foot bolt is loose, etc.
5. If there is discoloration at the contact point and connection in the motor. If there are discoloration, burn marks and smoke stains on the contact points and connections in the motor, it means there may be local overheating. If the contact point and connection of the motor are discolored, burn marks and smoke stains, it means there may be local overheating, poor contact of conductor connection or burned winding.
II. Listen
When the motor is running normally, it should make a uniform and light "humming" sound, no noise and special sound. If the noise is too large, including electromagnetic noise. Bearing noise. Ventilation noise. Mechanical friction sounds, etc., may be a precursor to a fault or a fault phenomenon. 1. For electromagnetic noise, if the motor makes a high and low and heavy sound, the causes may be the following. (1) Uneven air gap between stator and rotor, the sound will be high and low and the time between high and low sound will be the same, which is caused by the bearing wear and tear and thus the stator and rotor are not centered.
(2) three-phase current imbalance. This is the existence of three-phase winding mis-grounding. If the sound is very dull, it means the motor is seriously overloaded or running out of phase.
(3) Loose iron core. In the operation of the motor, the iron core fixing bolts are loosened due to vibration, which causes the iron core silicon steel piece to be loose and make noise.
3. If the drive mechanism and the drive mechanism to issue a continuous and non-sudden high and low sound, can be divided into the following cases.
(1) periodic "pop" sound, for the belt joint is not smooth caused.
(2) Periodic "thud" sound, for the coupling or pulley and shaft loosening and key or keyway wear caused.
(3) Uneven collision sound, caused by the fan blade colliding with the fan cover.
III. Smell
The smell of the motor can also be used to determine and prevent faults. If you find a special paint smell, it means the internal temperature of the motor is too high. If there is a heavy paste or burnt smell, the insulation layer may be pierced or the winding may be burnt.
IV. Touch
The temperature of some parts of the motor can also be used to determine the cause of the fault. To ensure safety, touch the motor casing with the back of your hand. If the temperature around the bearings is abnormal, the reasons may be as follows.
1. Poor ventilation. If the fan is off. Clogged ventilation duct etc.
2. Overload. To make the current too large and make the stator winding overheat.
3. Short circuit between turns of the stator winding or unbalanced three-phase current.
4. Frequent starting or braking.
5. If the temperature around the bearing is too high, it may be caused by bearing damage or lack of oil.
